The Mirror Deck includes 64 illustrated metaphor cards. Each card carries an image, a role, and three reflection prompts. The cards are designed for repeated use in coaching sessions, facilitation workshops, leadership programmes, team conversations, and reflective practice.

The deck is designed for coaches, facilitators, L&D leaders, CHROs, organisational consultants, educators, therapists, and reflective practitioners. It is also useful for leaders who run reflective conversations with teams.

No formal training is required. If you know how to hold a conversation, listen carefully, and work with reflection, you can use the deck. The prompts on the back of each card provide structure.

This policy applies to physical products purchased directly from The Mirror Deck website. It explains when a return, replacement or refund is available and how to request one. Purchases made through another retailer or marketplace are handled under that seller's policy, without limiting any rights available under applicable law.

1. When a return or refund is available

You may request a return, replacement or refund if:

the product arrives damaged or defective, including a crushed box, torn cards, missing cards or material printing errors;
you receive the wrong product or the order is incomplete;
the product is materially different from the description or images shown on our website;
the product is counterfeit, spurious or otherwise not genuine;
the shipment is confirmed as lost in transit; or
delivery takes place after the stated delivery date, except where the delay results from an event that legally qualifies as force majeure.

We do not normally accept returns because you changed your mind, no longer need the product or selected the wrong item. We also do not cover damage caused after delivery through misuse, improper storage, unauthorised alteration or ordinary wear. Minor variations in colour or finish caused by screen settings or normal print production are not defects unless they materially affect the product or differ substantially from its description.

2. Reporting a problem

Please report visible transit damage, an incorrect product or an incomplete order within 48 hours of delivery. This helps us raise a timely claim with the delivery partner. If you contact us later, we will still assess the request fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Defects that were not reasonably visible on delivery should be reported promptly after they are discovered.

Submit the request through the Contact Us page on our website and include, where relevant:

your order or invoice number;
the name and contact details used for the order;
the delivery date and a clear description of the problem;
photographs of the product, outer packaging and shipping label; and
a short video if it helps show the issue.

An unboxing video is helpful but is not mandatory. We will not reject an otherwise valid claim only because an unboxing video is unavailable. Please keep the product and its packaging until we confirm whether they need to be returned. Do not send the product back before receiving return instructions.

3. Review and outcome

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours. Once we have the information reasonably needed to assess it, we aim to communicate our decision within seven business days. We may ask for additional photographs, order information or other reasonable evidence where necessary.

If the request is accepted, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include:

a replacement at no additional cost;
a full refund for the affected product; or
a partial refund, but only where you agree that it is an appropriate resolution.

Where a replacement is unavailable, we will provide a refund. If we reject a request, we will communicate the decision in writing and explain the reason.

4. Returning an eligible product

If an approved claim requires the product to be returned, we will provide return instructions and arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping. The customer will not be charged return shipping for a damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete or materially misdescribed product. Please return the product with all components supplied with it, where reasonably possible. Missing original packaging will not by itself invalidate a genuine claim.

5. Lost or delayed shipments

If tracking shows no delivery or you believe the shipment has been lost, contact us through the Contact Us page. We will check the shipment with the courier and keep you informed. Once the shipment is confirmed as lost, we will offer a replacement or refund.

If an order is delivered after the delivery date stated at purchase, please contact us. We will assess the delay and the remedy available under applicable law, including whether you had agreed to accept a later delivery date.

6. Refunds

An approved full refund will cover the amount paid for the affected product, including any shipping charge attributable to that product. Discounts applied to the order will be reflected in the refund amount.

We will initiate the refund to the original payment method within seven business days after approval or, where a return is required, after the returned product is received or collected. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to credit the amount. We will email you when the refund has been initiated.

7. Complaints and grievance support

Return and refund requests can be submitted through the Contact Us page. You will receive an acknowledgement and a complaint reference or copy of the request. We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and seek to resolve them within one month of receipt. The name, designation and contact details of our Grievance Officer are available on the Contact Us page.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may use the remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the National Consumer Helpline.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any right or remedy available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or any other applicable law. If this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the legal requirement will apply.
